چکیده:

In this study yttria- stabilized zirconia was used to form YSZ (30%wt) /HAp composite and a sol-gel route was employed for the development of powder. The crystallization characteristics of the powder were analyzed using, (XRD).The crystallinity and the crystallite size of the heat treated powders were about 70% and 20 nm for zirconia grain size and 30-40 nm for hydroxyapatite grain size respectively. SEM on the composite nano powder is shown powder tends to form hard agglomerates during the synthesis process.
