چکیده:

The identification of a suitable synthesis route to zeolite MFI with crystal diameter of about 100 nm or less
focuses in this review. The pathway of the crystallization process as well as the morphology and singular
properties (crystal size and distribution) of MFI type zeolite are influenced by different variables, the
influence of aluminum source, silica source, aging time, pH, water content and presence of alkaline cations
on the properties of the final nanocrystalline zeolite have been studied. It was found an increase in the
SiO2/Al2O3 and OH/SiO2 molar ratio in the initial synthesis solution lead to a decrease in the final particle
size.
