چکیده:

We have shown that nanoantennae made of two spheroidal gold nanoparticles separated by a small gap enhance fluorescence up to three orders of magnitude [1]. Using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method, we numerically study their plasmon spectrum as a function of several parameters to understand and guide the design of more efficient systems.
