چکیده:

In the present investigation, a deep-drawing process is simulated using the finite element method. Both the elastoplastic and the elastoviscoplastic behavior of the deformable blank are studied and the results are compared to show the effect of loading rate on the forming of metal. Because of the low anisotropy of the sheet metal, the material is assumed to be isotropic and Von-Mises yield criterion is employed. The effect of different process parameters such as friction coefficient and punch velocity, are investigated, and several conclusive results are presented.
