چکیده:

This paper presents an analytical model for both inductanceand force in a cylindrical variable- reluctance linear stepper motor (VR-LSTM)and compares analytical and numerical values, resulted from Maxwell stresses tensor and Virtual work principal calculations,with the valuesobtainedfrom experiments.It has been foundthat there is a good agreement between analytical and numerical curves. where as there are some deviationsaroundthe maximumforcein experimentalresults.
