چکیده:

In this study, the effectiveness of composite material stiffener in dynamic behavior of a steel beam subjected to a single force traveling at a constant velocity has been investigated by use of finite element. Initially the finite element method (FEM) is validatedby analysis result of a simply supported uniform steel beam. With verification of FEM, the dynamic study of composite and strengthened beam under the action of moving loads is carried out by this method. The Dynamic magnification factors for various velocities for Steel, full composite and strengthened steel beam is obtained and critical velocities are investigated. This study shows that, composite materials are a good choice for reinforcement of bridges and beams. The magnification factors is function of force traveling velocityand material type but the maximum of dynamic magnification factor is material independency. Maximum Dynamic magnification factor is occurred at a critical velocity that is different for various materials . For all material the critical velocity is 1.25 times velocity at which the time of traveling the span is equal to the fundamental period that is different for various materials.
