چکیده:

In this paper a Galerkin Wavenumber Integration (GWI) method is described for solving elastic wave equation in shallow water environment. In Galerkin part of GWI technique, the Legender basis functions are applied to approximate displacements and stresses at each range sectors. Theunknown coefficients consist of the environment information of both inhomogeneous (direct source) and homogenous parts of governing wave equation. For illustrating the efficiency and performance of GWI method in experimental context, the results of GWI technique for a standard test problem is applied in Matched Field Processing (MFP) algorithm based on Barttlet and Minimum Variance (MV) processors.
