Gas turbines are widely used in industrial and power generation facilities in forms of simple and combined cycles and it is important to predict the actual performance of these engines accurately. One of reasons of deviation in results obtained from gas turbine models and experimental data is neglecting the effects of air extraction in compressors, air bleeding in turbine and air sealing services. A gas turbine model is proposed here in which the effects of air extraction and bleeding or sealing are considered and studied. Using the proposed model and the developed program (GT), power output, cycle efficiency and heat rate, specific fuel consumption in full and part load were studied. Comparing the GT model output and experimental results showed a very good closeness.
