چکیده:

In this paper, a robust H∞ method is used to calculate the active suspension applied forces to optimize the behavior of a one-half-car model in order to improve vehicle driving, ride comfort and handling properties. Displacement of the front wheel is taken as the road disturbance. The controller design is proposed to minimize chassis pitch angle and heave displacement when uneven road surfaces, pavement points, etc., are acting on the tires of running cars. A comparison between the active suspension robust control and spring/damper passive suspension simulation results illustrates the effectiveness of H∞ method in improving the system response.
