چکیده:

Thin film hydroxyapatite (HA) deposits through dip-coating onto prefinished low carbon 316L stainless steel substrates were prepared using water based sol–gel technique. This technique provides several advantages in the control of microstructure and the thickness of the coatings. The coatings were annealed in air; sintering temperature reaching 500 °C to enhance the crystallinity and purity of the films. The resultant coatings will be characterized by the use of FT-IR, XRD, EDXA and SEM. Nanostructured HA coating was obtained and optimum temprature and time for crystallinity occured at 400oC and 15 minutes
