چکیده:

During Firooz abad –Kojour earthquake (May 28, 2004), the response of Sepehr Tower which is one of tallest building in Iran has been measured by three SSA-2 accelerometer at basement 2 floor 13 and roof level and these records has been used to extract dominant model parameters of this building during earthquake by using a parametric frequency domain identification approach. Model parameters consist of modal frequencies. Model damping ratios and modal effective participation factors. Finally identified modal frequencies and participation factors have been compared with corrensponding modal parameters of a simple uniform shear building model and also with related periods obtained from Iranian code of practice seismic resistance design of building.
