چکیده:

Water vapor is one of the most common undesirable impurities in natural gas transmission. The objective of dehydration is to meet the hydrate formation temperature. In this paper, natural gas dew-point control unit with DEG (Di Ethylene Glycol) has been considered. Energy saving now is important subject in the industries and much effort are done to optimize operating cost in the industries. One way to reduce the consumption of energy in the industries is optimization techniques which try to manipulate process variables to minimize operating cost. The advantage of using Linear Programming is not being trapped in local optimum points. If the model perfectly behaves linearly,Linear Programming method is the best due to its speed to find the global optimum point. Operating cost optimized by linear programming and Optimized case compared to the base simulation and Optimized result show that Linear Programming optimize this unit.
