چکیده:

Flourapatite (FA) nanopowder was synthesized by mechanical alloying (MA) method. In vitro test was performed by immersion of nanopowder in Kokubo’s SBF for a maximum period of 4 weeks. Synthesized nanopowder was characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The changes of pH of the SBF were measured at pre-determined time intervals using a pH meter. The calcium and phosphorous ions concentrations of SBF were determined using ICP-OES analysis. The In vitro test indicated the precipitation of bone-like apatite on the surface of soaked powders during soaking in the SBF
