چکیده:

Motor current signature analysis (MCSA) is the most commonly used method for the detection of various faults in cage induction motors. Conventional rotor faults are broken rotor bar, static and dynamic air gap eccentricities. Static and dynamic air gap eccentricities may occur, simultaneously and many researches have been reported for the analysis of these simultaneous faults on induction motors. In this paper, we have studied simultaneous air gap eccentricity and broken rotor bar fault that may occur frequently in induction motors, due to inherent static air gap eccentricity of the motors. Experimental results are also provided to verify the simulations.
