This paper is the result of experience and research on Value and Quality. The purpose of this particular paper is to introduce, for the first time, the Blended Value Engineering (BVE). It is a new Problem Solving Strategy using the technique of Value Engineering (VE) and Six Sigma as anintegrate approach.Herein, the stages of value engineering study and Six Sigma are analyzed. In current research, in terms of the functions with high opportunity, high cost and high risk; both weakness and strength points of these two practical techniques would be recognized. Also, how to apply this approach in a practical workshop is explored by obtaining the universal experiences as well as I explain how to arrange these two methodologies in order of project improvement. VE has six known phases which both function analysis and creativity phases are powerful as main advantages of this practical technique and also Six Sigma has five stages which is stronger than VE in implementation stage by using different statistical methods although it is not based on extensive creativity. Thus, BVE able to combine advantages of both method conducting an appropriate synergistic approach. In this research, I will explain how to find and approve the methodology of BVE as a reliable and fruitful approach by using the job plans of both VE and Six Sigma. Also I will be trying to compare different techniques such as VE and Six Sigma with BVE via using recognized and significant criteria weighted in AHP method. Moreover, I show off the FATS diagrams of both basic methods. Briefly, I simulate the activities of the expert team to evaluate and implement BVE through criticizing basic methods. In this paper, it would be explained on the philosophy of making these two strong techniques briefly. Then, we will consider the stages of blended value engineering workshop with six sigma to find expected outputs of this suggested method. The standard job plan of this method is investigated and presented like a brand-new schematic scheme .
