چکیده:

Blanking/punching is one of the oldest sheet metal forming processes and is widely used and studied. This paper presents a simulation methodology, which aims to investigate virtually some sheet metal blanking process parameters. The simulation is performed using built-in damage criteria in Abaqus/Explicit named Gurson and shear models. Finally the results are compared with the experimental ones in metal forming literature and it is seen that they are in reasonably good agreement
