چکیده:

In order to study the effect of consumption of different quantities of natural zeolite and soil moisture
depletion on natural trend of corn growth (Zea mays L.) single grass 704, a factorial pot experiment was
conducted with 12 treatments and three replications and totally in 36 pots in the investigative field of
Agriculture Faculty of Tarbiat Modares University. In this experiment zeolite quantities were taken in four
levels (0, 2, 4, 8 gr/kg soil) and moisture depletion percent in three levels (45, 65, 85 % of soil water) during
growing season. Then were measured the leaf area, height, and diameter of the stem. The obtained results
showed that consumption of 2 grams zeolite in 1 kg soil had important effects on the leaf area and the
diameter of maize, in comparison with control treatment it could affect on the yield.
