چکیده:

Zeolite is a relative abounded mineral resource. Its distinguished properties on cation exchange capacity
(CEC), free structural water storage and surface adsorption have a great potential application on soil
ameliorating. In order to investigate the soil moisture changes with time and also the influence of zeolite in
retentions of moisture in the loam sandy soil, we have designed a completely randomized plan in 5
treatments and 3 repetitions; totally we have had 15 pots. we have prepared all the pots and then we have
mixed 1.5 kg soil with zeolite at ratios of 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8 and 5 percent weight of the soil. Treatments and
different levels of zeolite consumption have nominated as (z0, z1, z2, z3, z4, z5). We have concluded that Z3
treatment has caused to increase the percent of moisture in the field capacity2.47%. The amounts of
increases for Z1 and Z2 treatments were 1.83 and 1.86 percent. The results have shown that there was not a
significant difference between treatments on the last days of experiment.
