چکیده:

In order to study the effect of consumption of different quantities of natural zeolite and irrigation
efficiency on corn yield (Zea mays L.) single grass 704, a factorial pot experiment was conducted with 12
treatments and three replications and totally in 36 pots in the investigative field of Agriculture Faculty of
Tarbiat Modares University. In this experiment zeolite quantities were taken in four levels (0, 2, 4, 8 gr/kg
soil) and irrigation efficiency percent treatments (M1= 90%, M2= 70% and M3=30%) during growing season.
During to experiment soil moisture was measured by weighting method. After harvesting, fresh and dry
weight, were measured. Statistical analysis results indicate that zeolite consumption had a significant effect
on all measurement parameters. On each level of Zeolite as the amount of irrigation efficiency changes (M1,
M2, M3) clearly in two areas of M2 and M3 because of more leaching in comparison with M1, the difference
in total weight of maize between the samples without Zeolite (Z0M2, Z0M3) and the samples having Zeolite is
high that shows the positive effect of Zeolite on increasing the irrigation efficiency.
