چکیده:

Objective: This study was carried out during April 2007 to isolate and verify fungi from Acipenser percicus larvae in Shahid Rajaee Sturgeon Hatchery.
Method & Materials: Acipenser percicus larvae were 2-7 days old. Samples were taken with sterile swap and transferred to fish disease laboratory with ice. The samples were inoculated in culture media (Sabouraud dextrose agar, potato dextrose agar and corn meal agar + antibiotics) and incobated at room temprature.
Results & Conclusion: Five species of fungi were isolated from the larvae, including Alternaria spp., Cladosporium spp., Paecilomyces spp., Penicillium spp. and Chrysosporium spp. The most frequent isolated fungus was Penicillium spp. (32%), wherase the lowest frequent isolated fungus was Chrysosporium spp. (12%). There was no significant correlation between the identified fungi in 2- 7 days – old Acipenser percicus larva (P<0.05).
