چکیده:

In this study, the kinetics of propane dehydrogenation over Pt-Sn-Al2O3 catalyst was studied. The dehydrogenation reactions over Pt-Sn-Al2O3 catalyst were carried out in a laboratory-scale plug-flow reactor at 620 o C under atmospheric pressure and reaction conversion for each run was measured. Several kinetic models were derived from different proposed mechanisms and the correlation analysis of these models with experimental data was investigated. The results of the kinetics study represent that the rate limiting step is propane adsorption on catalyst.
