چکیده:

In the present work, bulk material is manufactured through consolidation of aluminum particles by a new method named as forward extrusion-equal channel angular pressing (FE-ECAP). The consolidated material shows a fine grain structure, good bonding between the particles and excellent mechanical properties relative to those obtained by conventional extrusion process. The results demonstrate that the FE-ECAP process is a promising method for producing bulk materials from metal particles with full density and improved mechanical properties.
