Gas condensates are valuable product which can be obtained from natural gas. When the gas is removed from the field and pressure is reduced, some of the heavier fractions condense depending on the pressure drop. Gas condensates are essentially mixtures of liquid hydrocarbon with lengths ranging from C4 to C26 with various percent. The proposed Refinery of Iran has gas condensates that are used as fuel. These products are being exported and Institute of Standard and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) is in charge of controlling these consignments of the product without any gasoil. Therefore finding a method to determine the amount of gasoil in the gas condensate is necessary. In this work different tests were performed on several mixture of gasoil and gas condensate. Atmospheric distillation test is one of the important tests for petroleum products that provides various data regarding compounds and properties of hydrocarbon products in a mixture, due to its low prices and simplicity of the test, it is greatly been employed. For this test the mathematical equations are obtained, and they are being used for estimating the amount of gasoil in mixtures. Also parameters for flash point and specific gravity were determined for the mixtures and similar equations were established. This method was tested using several gas condensate mixtures. The results show very good agreements with experimental data.
