چکیده:

Hollow core fibers with fused silica and metal claddings are studied for dispersion of femtosecond optical pulses at a wavelength of 800 nm. The linearly polarized hybrid mode HE11 has negligible pulse spreading. In the presence of higher order modes the modal dispersion can be large and depends strongly on the core radius.
