چکیده:

Modeling and simulation of heterogeneous fixed-bed reactor are investigated on the basis of the industrial reactor for selective dehydrogenation of heavy paraffin on Pt-Sn-Al2O3 catalyst (in mono olefin production). The industrial reactor for dehydrogenation of heavy paraffin is fixed bed reactor with radial feed flow; therefore a detailed knowledge of the fluid flow profile and of the pressure drop is essential for a proper design of fixed-bed processes. LHHW kinetic model is used for prediction of concentration profile. The model of the reactor is obtained with combination of velocity profile and mass balance equations.
