Materials separation is considered as one of the most important steps of a process. An important technique of material separation is by means of supercritical fluids. Fluids such as: CO2, C2H6 show an increase in their solubility when they enter the zone of supercritical condition. The application of supercritical fluids is preferred in the separation of materials whose sensitivity to temperature and pressure are high – materials such as drugs, foods, proteins, etc. The molecular shape of these materials would be transformed when these parameters change. In the current study, at first a new third equation of state has been presented with the combination of Scott’s defending statement and Redlich – Kong’s attracting statement, then and according to the six well-defined scales, the solubility of uracil in the supercritical fluid of CO2 has been studied with the aid of new equation, and its results have been compared with the results of SRK and PR equations. Finally, the error of solubility for 38 experimental points in the new equation of state, SRK and PR equations are %14.5, %18.2, and %26respectively. It indicates that the new equation possesses an acceptable accuracy in the prediction of solubility.
