چکیده:

Queue theory in field of computer networks is proved to be a challenging problem, attracting interest of many researchers in last several years. Queue behavior modeling throughsimulation and designating appropriate policies for optimum managements are among these research interests. In this paper the feasibility ofqueue modeling by using random variables is studied. Afterwards the problem of optimum queue managements is formulated as a multi-objectiveoptimization problem and is attacked by a stochastic combinatorial optimization approach. Implementation results show that using theproposed model several attributes of network queues including queue length, can be optimally tuned.
