چکیده:

In this work, polyacrylonitrile fibers have been modified with ethanolamine to provide new chelating ion-exchanger fibers. Modified PAN fibers were prepared by convert of the nitrile groups into hydroxyl functionality. With solutions with different concentration aminoethanol by refluxing 910C, and the reaction time were adjusted to values of 5 hr. The products were characterized with fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and were find ratio of modified fibers to polyacrylonitrile fibers. The modified PANs were used as an adsorbent in a series of batch adsorption experiments for removal Cu (II), Pb (II) and Ni (III) ions. A mount of modified pan fiber with submicrometer fiber diameters ranging from 120 to 300 nm were produced by electrospinning in an N, N-dimethyl formamide (DMF). In similar conditions, produced nanofibers were used as an adsorbent in adsorption experiments for removal Cu (II), Pb (II) and Ni (III) ions. Result shows that obtained nanofiber adsorpted metal ion rather than usual fiber because of ratio high surface to mass
