چکیده:

Multiphase pumps are modified liquid pumps that are capable of pumping various combinations of oil, water, gas, and minor amounts of sand in the same pipeline without separation. Multiphase pumps enable new options for field developments, both onshore and subsea, and they are well adapted to large flowrates or subsea applications. In addition, They offer significant economical advantages and operational flexibility for the operator. In this paper we study on progress in hydraulic design of multiphase pumps and new multiphase pump applications in oil and gas facilities.
