چکیده:

Application of nanoZeolite for improvement of characteristics of concrete structures was reported. Using
kinds of nanoZeolite in concrete structures may develop its strength and durability parameters. A range of
nanocrystalline zeolites for both R&D and industrial applications such as non-agglomerated powders,
aqueous suspension and nanoZeolite coating are produced. Non-agglomerated powders can be used for
accelerate the reaction of component of hydration of cementitous materials in the cement paste and improve
microstructure and bonding strength of paste-aggregate interlayer. Using nanoZeolite aqueous suspension
will surpass the permeability and mixing concrete homogeneously. With nanoZeolite coating on carbon
fibers and steel rebars, abrasion and corrosion resistance of concrete structures will increase. Preliminary
study on the application of nanoZeolite on properties of high performance concretes (HPC) was carried out
and results were reported.
