چکیده:

In this paper, decolorization and mineralization of Basic Blue 41 (BB 41) were investigated bynanophotocatalysis using immobilized titania (TiO2) nanoparticles. A simple and effective method wasdeveloped for the immobilization of titania nanoparticles. Photocatalytic decolorization and mineralizationprocesses were performed using pilot scale (10 L) colored dye solutions. UV-Vis, Ion Chromatography (IC) andtotal organic carbon (TOC) analyses were employed to obtain the details of the photocatalytic decolorization andmineralization of BB 41.The effects of major variables governing the efficiency of the photocatalytic processessuch as H2O2, dye concentration and anions (NO3-, Cl-, HCO3- and CO32-) were investigated.
