چکیده:

Iran is a vast country with many active industrial projects. As industry grows, more need for electric power is felt. Parallel to these projects, establishment of more power plants, and construction of high voltage transmission lines is a necessity. At present time construction of more than 5,000 Km of over head transmission line (OHTL) covering voltage levels of 400, 230, 132 and 63 Kv have started. Design and construction of such long distance lines should be considered as special case based on optimum design, technical and economical point of views. The transmission lines foundation with regards to line length can be very important and expensive. So adaptation of methods to decrease the volume of transmission lines’ foundation will have economic rewards. Therefore MOSHANIR, through its computerized investigations present
optimum methods for Transmission Line (T/L) foundation design.
