چکیده:

Interaction of TlI ion, sodium hydroxide and CCl3CONHPO(NCH3C6H11)2 phosporamidate afforded {Tl[CCl3CONPO(NCH3C6H11)2]}n. The crystal system istrigonal, space group P3(2); a = 23.1877(5), b = 23.1877(5), c = 10.9494(6)Å; V = 5098.4(3) Å۳; Dc = 1.865 Mg/m3 (Z = 9); F(000) = 2772. The asymmetric unit of thecrystal structure contains three crystallographically independent molecules. As phosphoramide ligand is bidentate and bridging between three TlI ions, each TlI ionhas a 2+2 coordination environment, with two short bonds to the phosphoryl and carbonyl oxygen donors and two longer bonds to the phosphoryl and carbonyl oxygen donors of neighboring ligands. The arrangement of O-atoms in this complex suggest agap or hole in coordination geometry around the TlI coordination sphere, a gap possibly occupied by a ‘stereo-active’ electron lone pair. The resultant Tl-O-P-N-C-O six membered rings contain five different elements.
