چکیده:

In this paper a numerical analysis for electroabsorption in multiple quantum well (MQW) structure is proposed which is simple and has sufficient accuracy to make it suitable as a fast design tool for electroabsorption optical modulators. The method involves straight forward multiplication of 2 × ۲ matrices and dose not involve any iteration. With this model the electroabsorption in MQW structure and quantum confined Stark shift are calculated. Our results have been compared with experimental data and shown a remarkable agreement.
