چکیده:

In this paper, a single layer functional link ANN based on Chebyshev polynomials is used for identification and prediction of chaotic systems. This model is linear in their parameters and nonlinear in the inputs. Therefore, online system identification is achievable by the use of recursive least squares method with forgetting factor. The remarkable prediction performance was gained using proposed Chebyshev neural network (CNN) model and recursive nonlinear predictor method on noise free chaotic Lorenz series.
