چکیده:

At heavy earthquakes among structural schemes of building, a greater degree of damage receive buildings from brick and stone materials. The main reason of low monolithness and seismic resistance of masonry is low strength of normal bond of brick with mortal. The paper presents information about raising seismic resistance of buildings, masonry as a whole by «passive» ways and raising floors (up to 12 storeys) by «active» ways of seismic protection.
