چکیده:

The performance of PEM fuel cells depends significantly on an appropriate flow field design. In this work, we concentrates on the improvement in performance of the polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) through optimization of the channel dimensions. serpentine flow-field design was used for studying the effect of channel dimensions. We use Genetic algorithm to optimization and apply analytical manner as fitness function. Optimum values for each of the dimensions, channel width and channel depth were obtained, 0.6 and 0.5 mm respectively.
