چکیده:

In this research, a common problem in tubular reactor with different reactants was modeled via CFD modeling tool. An elementary, exothermic,
second order reversible reaction in liquid phase and laminar flow regime has been studied in a tubular reactor using FEMLAB Ver. 2.3. Influence of effective parameters in a tubular reactor that up till now been neglected to simplify the calculations have been taken into consideration. Also, the effects of several physical parameters such as inlet temperature and flow rate that are important in these reactors were investigated. oreover, several case studies were chosen and at each reaction condition the behavior was interpreted. All modeling were performed using FEMLAB 2.3 in our lab and the virtual results show the way to perform experiments in real works.
