چکیده:

In this article the irreversibilities causing the overpotential in a packed aluminum-cupper battery are investigated. The polarization and current interruption curves have been obtained from the experimental data and activation and ohmic losses are identified. The experimental data will be used to determine the number and size of the required batteries for a low power application. Also, it is experimentally found that the application of sodium hydroxide on the anode electrode is very effective and enhances the cell performance.
