چکیده:

This paper presents biochips fabrication by using the COOH– derived polymer coating deposited by plasma polymerized acrylic acid (PPAA). We have studied the stability of PPAA coatings in aqueous solution, which has a very important role for this application. For better understand the stability of PPAA and the characterization the surface, several techniques were used. The high carboxylic acid concentration achieved in the low power deposits correlates with a hydrophilic PPAA, but we lost the majority of this coating after rising in water. The lower carboxylic acid content and greater cross-linking of coating was obtained at higher power result the resistant coating with solution in water. The covalent binding of DNA on the surface was achieved by applying the activation the carboxylic function with NHS/EDC. This work shows that the plasma polymerization technique can be applied to produce a high-quality glass surface for DNA arrays fabrication
