چکیده:

When a power and a communication circuit are operated in proximity, the power circuit may produce certain conductive or inductive effects, which may interfere with the normal operation of the communication circuit . These electrica1 interference Effects, which appear as a result of
extraneous voltages and currents, obligate US to define a certain distance, between these two circuits, for normal operation of them.
In this paper by usage of the international Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee Standard (CCITT) and Electromagnetic Transient Program (EMTP), a precise model has been presented, which can determine the. best suitable clearances for power and communication lines,
for any given voltage level, and any conductors configurations.
