چکیده:

This study presents a new modified method of Wilke for calculating viscosities of binary gas mixtures containing hydrogen. The model is derived from 89 experimental viscosities of binary gas mixtures containing hydrogen and makes it possible to predict the viscosities of such mixtures from a limited set of information. Accuracy of the model is compared to Wilke’s and Reichenberg’s methods. The comparison indicates the superiority of the new method over the other methods used to calculate viscosities of hydrogen binary mixtures at low pressures. The new models are designed to be simpler than Reichenberg’s and more efficient than Wilke’s methods.
