چکیده:

Within the framework of a French-Iranian cooperation, 13 seismological stations were installed in the city of Tehran (Capital of Iran) from February to July 2002 to record earthquakes and ambient noise over areas of different geotechnical characteristics. Additional microtremor measurements were performed in 60 points throughout the city in order to provide some guidance on the way to interpolate results obtained from these few temporary stations. The receiver functions (H/V ratio) were calculated for 13 sites, which the results show the important variation in ground motion characteristics. These results and also the result of temporal observation of the data are presented in this paper. The analyses of ata with other methods such as classic spectral ratio (site/reference site spectral ratio) and H/V for microtremor measurement are underway.
