چکیده:

A series of novel biodegradable polyurethane elastomers was prepared from reaction of epoxy terminated polyurethane prepolymers (EUP) and hexamethylendiamine (HMDA) curing agent. EUPs themselves were prepared via reaction of glycidol with isocyanate terminated polyurethane (ITP).Optimum condition of curing was confirmed by gel content measurment and crosslink density of the prepared network was obtain via equilibrim swelling method and data were related to strucheral parameters. All polymers were characterized by conventional methods and their physical, mechanical and degradation properties were studied fully. The results showed raseanable degradationrate as well as excellent physical and mechanical properties.
