The protein nanoparticles which represent promising carriers for drug delivery were fabricated based on the principle of coacervation. The size of the fabricated nano-particles was measure by laser light scanning. The produced nanoparticles were subjected to physical, morphological as well as biochemical characterisation. Photographs obtained for image analysis studies by SEM and AFM proved semi-spherically shape of the particles whilst size distribution was measured by photon correlation spectroscopy. A range of Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) protein nanoparticles from 89.3 to 418 nm were fabricated as demonstration of the principle. This paper describe influence of several factors of the preparation process such as the rate of addition desolvating agent, the concentration of BSA, the gluttaraldehyde concentration, rate of agitation and volumetric ratio of BSA/Ethanol, in constant temperature (4°C).The result of this study indicated that particle size un depended on the amount of cross liker and rate of addition ethanol.. The protein concentration (5-25 mg/ml) as well as agitation speed had the main effect on the particle size. The mechanistic fabrication of protein nanoparticles and influence parameter on particle size is strongly discussed.
