چکیده:

Ferromagnetic shape memory alloys are under investigation for their applications in actuation of high magnitude that controlled by magnetic field [1]. Process techniques result in nanocrystalline structure in these alloys causes a high permeability, low coercive force and high magnetic flux density for soft magnetic properties [2] and increases the martensitic start transformation temperature (Ms) and strain recovery [3]. Mechanical alloying is a process capable of synthesizing of non-equilibrium materials, such as supersaturated solid solutions, nanostructured materials and amorphous alloys [4, 5].The purpose of the present paper was producing a nanocrystalline FeNiCoTi magnetic shape memory alloy by mechanical alloying technique and study structural changes by XRD and SEM. The results are useful to understand the structural changes and the mechanism of forming the supersaturated FeNiCoTi solid solution during the MA process
