چکیده:

Zeolites are alumino-silicate materials with some properties uniform pore size, reversible hydration, ion
exchange, sorbent and sieving ability. These properties lead to the various uses synthetic and natural zeolites
have symmetrically stacked alumina and silica tetrahedra.
This study provides some process for production of Zeolite A, Y, S, HS and X from Iranian kaolin and
silica Sand and etc. by clay conversion and hydro gel methods. Synthetic zeolites from kaolin by conversion
of kaolin into meta-kaolin followed by reaction of the meta- kaolin in an aqueous alkaline medium, where in
the conversion of the kaolin into the meta-kaolin is conducted at identify temperatures. In hydro gel process,
Silicate is recovered from the mother liquor as precipitated silica/ alumina hydro gel Which used in the
zeolite reaction step as a source of silia and alumina.
