It and its impact on performance have gained a great attention during last two decades. Many researchers tried to investigate the relation between .IT implementation in firms and its impact on firm performance. While some of them found positive significant correlation between IT and performance, others did not. Last approach in this area is considering IT complementary factors in assessing IT impacts on performance. As firms have limited resources to invest on IT, this article tricle tried to presrnt a ranking of different IT aspects, based on their effects on firm performance. In this way, a data set of a survey of 112 part manufacturers of car industry is used ti develop a structural equation model, based on the extant Literature, and a method for ranking different IT aspects is presrnted. The results of this atricle show that, using IT in decision making and higher levels of oranization in car industry can improve performance more then using it in operationa level. More investigation is needed to include other mediating and moderating factors and also to gove such a ranking in other industries.
