چکیده:

Significant soil nail wall projects in the North of Tehran, Iran were recently completed with a combined area of 1341 Square meter of finished shotcrete surface. These projects required the use of innovative technique for soil nailing in order to address various challenges, including weak type of soil, highly deep excavation, non-geometric excavation, very tight construction tolerances and unexpected subsurface conditions. In this paper, method of soil nail installation for running ground condition is recommended to provide stability of drill hole over the length. A good result has been observed by using this method in the recent project.
