چکیده:

Several techniques have been used for sand production control in sandstone reservoirs. The main object of this paper is to obtain two effective methods for preventing from sand migration in the oil wells. In the first method the consolidation is accomplished by using the proportion of lowresin rates vs. solvent. Furthermore, the time of consolidation of samples is of great important to the first method. After testing the selected resin is considered suitable for this project. In the second method the in-situ combustion method is used for the consolidation of sand. In this method, the in-situ combustion is done after mixing crude oil, sand and bitumen which cause to create a hydrocarbon cokelike material to form, which leads to stick sands together. After making the samples in both of methods and conducting the experiments of permeability, porosity and compressive strength, it is observed that both of the given methods provide reasonable and significant results.
